Terrific Two's!

It is hard for us to believe this little guy is 2! His birth was long waited. He was a trooper.  Even though my body interpreted his body as an enemy and attacked him the entire time, he held strong and made it to the outside world! He was so big when he was born, but he hasn't stayed that way.  Though he may be average in stature at this point, he is not average in intelligence. He is incredibly clever. Nothing is same from him. If he wants it, he will figure out a way to have it; luckily, he is pretty easy-going most of the time.

He seems to have been born with monkey toes.  He can climb the closed drawers in the kitchen like a ladder. He usually does this to get to the butter. He will use what ever he can move as a step to reach the apples or to climb over the baby gate.

He has always understood a great deal of language. He would respond and follow through on directions from a very early age. It is truly novel since his older siblings still struggle with  hat at times.  Many people truly believed he was speaking at a very early age. He would make vocal sounds similar to words. But they were consistent and appeared to be accurate. I was never really sure, mainly because it seemed so unbelievable. The funny thing is, I think I still don't recognize all he says.  Mainly because the words aren't clear.

Addy- Daddy
Baa- back (meaning he wants a piggy back ride, usually down the stairs)
appo- apple
mow (rhymes with cow)- cat
mah-ee  - Mommy
Shoo- Shoe

just like his brother, he is not a fan of loud sounds. If an airplane flies by while we are outside, he will jump into my arms.

He is better at "Head,  Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" than any of his siblings were at his age.

He loves the song "when you're happy and you know it"

We just love this little guy and the special spice he adds to our lives!
